MH-830 Wireless Rider Hands free
Motorcycles are cool, the epitome of the young and the restless. Coupled with a fashionable mobile phone like the Motorola v8088 or the Nokia 8850 or even the Ericsson T28, one could be seen as being associated with the hip and trendy.
However, there is always the cumbersome process of actually stopping the vehicle and answering the phone when it rings. Either that, or just miss the call altogether. It is for this reason Autotech & Industries Limited has designed and developed an ingenious device for bike lovers with mobile phones. Code-named the Ottomann MH830, it is a headgear with wireless hands free capabilities.
The Ottomann MH830 is a 2-way full duplex wireless hands free unit, with no wiring between the mobile phone and the hands free unit. The RF effective distance is about a meter to a meter and a half, supporting superb sound quality with an amplified earphone as well as a noise reduction microphone to block out the outside noises. The unit also allows for automatic call handling (answering and hanging up), as well as the option of either an automatic of manual start up or shut down of the unit.
The unit is battery operated, and easy to install. There is no drilling or any complicated wiring involved in the set up of the helmet. All that has to be done is to place the earphone and the microphone onto the helmet before adhering the stylish transmission unit at the back of the helmet. A small transmission unit is to be plugged to the mobile phone to complete the installation, and it is done!
An accessory in its own right, the MH830 Wireless Rider Hands Free Kit is set to take mobile communications to a higher level.
