My free SMS

The six-month contract offer from Vodafone was a boon for many who didn’t want to get tied up to a commitment for too long. More true for those who want to have the freedom of moving between plans or carriers, or simply to keep up-to-date with the latest handsets available to date. This has earned Vodafone much patronage - and that was just the beginning.
So what else are they going to throw in? How do 600 free SMS messages sound?
“Wow?” Yeah, that’s what I thought - and that’s exactly what Vodafone is offering to people who get connected up on a “My 33” plan between 3rd June 2002 and 7th July 2002.
In addition to the standard set of offers that comes with the “My 33” plan (free voicemail deposits, free 20-minute calls to other Vodafone numbers during off-peak, 1-second billing), you will also get 600 free SMS messages which will be given to you throughout your 6-month contractual period. This is equivalent to 100 free SMS messages per month for the first six months of your network service.
If you’re unable to use up the 100 free SMS messages within a month, these won’t be rolled over to the following month. Anything over the 100 SMS messages per month will be charged at the normal rate of 22 cents (including GST). These free SMS messages can be sent to any network - including those overseas - which have the relevant network capabilities.
When the six months are up, your service will revert back to the standard “My 33” plan.
So for those people who have yet to make a choice as to what they should choose, Vodafone’s “My 33” plan with 600 free SMS messages over six months is a hard one to refuse. For those people who have taken up a practice of sending SMS messages frequently, this deal even beats the amount of free SMS messages available on other Vodafone plans. It’s definitely something worth considering.
